  • You’re right about the dual mandate, that’s the traditional mechanism: weak jobs, rate cuts, stocks up. And honestly, that plays right into what Trump wants anyway. Bad job numbers give the Fed cover to cut, which is exactly what he’s been demanding. But I think the mandate is being overpowered now. Trump wants rates at 1% or lower. He’s a real estate guy who built his career on cheap debt, and he’s openly said the oil industry is “making a freaking fortune” off high gas prices and “I don’t give a damn.” That tells you whose interests come first. Cheap money flows into assets, and the hottest asset right now is AI, controlled by a handful of tech billionaires who lined up behind this administration. When jobs disappear, their investors read it as proof AI is working, and stocks climb. The market isn’t following the Fed’s mandate anymore, it’s following capital’s story… So in my view, the people outwardly pulling the strings are the asset owners: oil, tech, real estate, and the administration serving them. Bad news for workers is good news for them. That’s what I mean by psychos. Okay, get your tinfoil hat? This next part is pure speculation, but what if… What if pressuring the Fed isn’t just about donors, but part of something bigger? Trump calls Canada the 51st state, wants Greenland, and talks about owning the Western Hemisphere. His envoys are real estate and investment guys holding repeated meetings with Putin about joint business deals, while he waives Russian sanctions. My theory… there’s been a kind of modern Yalta, where the big strongmen quietly carve the world into spheres. The Fed is one of the last independent institutions standing in the way, so it has to be bent. Cheap money pumps up the assets the ruling circle owns. The Iran war drives up oil, which enriches Russia and US oil, hurts Europe, and squeezes ordinary Americans. A squeezed, destabilized population is easier to push around. Every piece of the pattern is there for this… and the people winning is pretty clear.

  • I’m surprised the authors didn’t mention the means-testing scam Democrats are running. They show how consultants drain the party’s money, but they miss how politicians shrink their promises to the bare minimum. Instead of fixing big problems like healthcare, housing, or prices, they figure out the least they can offer and still win. It’s the same game as the fundraising: it serves the consultants and donors, not voters. They tell us “democracy is on the line,” then offer us scraps. No wonder people feel the party asks a lot and gives little.

  • There is a company that keeps lists of people. CIA money built it and now a billion dollars pays it to map neighborhoods for raids and comb Medicaid rolls for names. Medicaid. People went to a doctor and that is how they got found. Two more companies run the cages, nine of ten souls ICE holds are in their buildings, and their profits rose seventy percent, and somebody got a bonus for that. One man helped found the list company, then founded a think tank that makes it a crime to sleep outside, and keeps his money in the cages those laws fill. And the banks hold stock in the eye and the cell both. Push any of them and they all say the same thing. The company did it. Not me.

WOE unto them! Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees and write grievousness! A company has no legs to stand before God. Men do. And they will stand, not sit behind counsel, not send a statement, and their ledgers will be ash and the only book open will be His, and there is no page in it for contracts. I was a stranger and ye took me not in. I was sick and ye looked up my name. I was in prison and ye OWNED the prison. They brag their deals are no-bid. That gate is no-bid too. No lawyer. No appeal. No payout. God was never once fooled by a letterhead. The day cometh that burneth as an oven and they will have nothing in their hands but what they did to the least of these. Nothing. Repent. Be afraid.

  • Consider it a tech demo, not a pitch. I’m using it to try things out. . Next I’d like to explore not storing passwords or email addresses at all, and running small local discriminative models to flag spam. This work will help me with other efforts in my life. That’s the extent of it… well other than having convos with people and trying not to panic that teh world is so crazy.

What I like about the fediverse is that we can talk, and nobody has to adopt anyone else’s interface, view or agenda to do it.
