The Democratic minority leader was asked about opposition to his leadership from new members and said the “issue is not me. I’ll be re-elected as majority leader. The issue is focusing on the American people and what they want.”

Yes, you are in fact the problem Chuck.
Schumer and Jeffries need to go if Democrats aim to actually achieve the things they want. Terribly uncharismatic and possibly compromised leadership.
Congratulations to putting some brakes on this Trump regime, but the '28 Democratic Primaries effectively begin today.
I remember being at a parade some thirty years ago when Chuck rolled by on his float. My father went from silent to rather animated, “Hey Chuckie boy! FUCK YOU, CHUCK!” I was still rather young and so I asked what just happened. My father took a moment to compose himself, then stated, “I voted for him to get to where he is and he betrayed me. I have every right to tell him to his face that he failed me and exactly how I feel about it.”
He’s been a disappointment since then.
