Honestly, I don’t think I’d want to see him as the presidential candidate next. He’s very young and after being president you are mostly spent as a politician. Look at Obama. He could have had a longer productive career if he hadn’t been president as early as he was. Talarico I’d hope to see for two or three full cycles as a Senator. If he’s then elected president he’d still be young, but more experienced.
At the same time you constantly hear Amercans complaining that their politicians are too old and too out of touch.

If it came to a 50 year old vs a 35 year old, I’m voting for the older guy. The younger will be spending too much time on Tik Tok.
It’s also not worth giving up an incumbent Texas Senate seat as a Democrat.
