Just win the damn elections first and worry about that after. This is basic football, catch the ball first, THEN run. Planning before execution leads to incomplete passes, or interceptions.
But at least they have to tell the voters roughly what they want to do so the voters know what they are actually voting for. So ‘just win the damn elections’ should include some indication of their priorities.
Absolutely, on policy that’s important. But announcing investigations before your capable of doing so is likely to just make him throw in another $300 million to keep that from happening.
I mean…you should also have a plan on what to do when you have the ball, right? Or is every time you catch a football, it’s your first time thinking about what you’re gonna do next?

“Hey guys, I’m not going to tell you what I plan to do with power once I get it because Shartgargle says it’s the best option. Vote for me, though.”
It’s called having a platform. Saying what you’re gunna do if you win is the whole point of campaigning.
Investigating people isn’t a platform.
It is, though. A platform at it’s core is a signal of your values and a general set of promises. You born yesterday or something?
