    Americans’ opinions are pretty stupid. The same people with a low opinion of the economy could also have a good chance at having a positive opinion of trump’s tariff wars, trump’s war in the Middle East, trump’s destruction of US foreign influence hobbling our ability to obtain favorable trade, trump’s tax cuts for the wealthy, and so much more that has a negative impact on our lives.

    They are incredibly myopic and selfish.

    In 2014 I bought an R9 270x for slightly less than $250.

    It ran every game from the time at high-ultra, 1080p 60fps. Except maybe crysis 3.

    Don’t get me wrong, there’s bigger issues than not having a new card to render video games, but god damn do I miss that.

    I’m not a Biden fan, but I’d like to point out:

    • Inflation was lower when Biden left, than what he inherited from Mango Mussolini
    • All three stock market indexes set records under Biden
    • Violent crime, property crime, and the murder rate dropped under Biden
    • Unemployment averaged 4.1%, below historical average

    Now, you can nit pick these numbers, say how they aren’t representative of real people’s lives, or the median people’s lives and I’m not going to argue with you. Or you can point out the bad. But given these actual stats, Americans decided that nothing was better and trump would make things better. An insurrectionist, a liar, a sexual predator, a convicted felon, a racist, a narcissist, and on and on, was elected president. Again, after the train wreck of his first term.

    tldr: American’s are stupid and their (our) opinions are trash. How many times will we see people bitching about trump, but then saying they’d vote for him again, or that there is no way they could vote for the other team?

      I was visiting my American in-laws a few weeks ago and this type of thing infuriated me. They are basically hardcore Republicans who voted for Trump 3 times but don’t want to openly say it or, in the case of my mother and father in law, they keep acting like they don’t vote because “it doesn’t matter anyway”.

      They then proceed to keep complaining about gas prices, grocery prices and general cost of living. My mother in law looked at the gas price and said “jeez, I wonder why gas is so expensive”. They are straight up the most ignorant people I’ve ever seen and they fit every single stereotype I have in my mind about rural voters.

      And whenever I try to explain to them what the cause of all this is they just tell me that it has always been bad and that they won’t vote.

      It’s one thing if you fuck yourself and your own country over (we have those voters here too in the Netherlands) but when you choose to elect someone (either by voting for them or not voting for the alternative) who has proven to be a disaster for both your country and the world as a whole it’s honestly on you and you deserve everything that comes your way, including the hate you get from people in other countries.

      Edit: I forgot to add that they live in Michigan so they are even part of a crucial swing state, to make things more annoying. I tried talking to them about Abdul Al-Sayed and they didn’t even know who I was talking about.

      Biden would be considered clearly right wing here (Denmark), but at least he was a “normal” person, and not a malignant narcissist.
      As a rule of thumb, never vote for the psychopath no matter what he/she promises. The Psychopath doesn’t give a shit about people. And a psychopath simply can’t understand the social mechanisms that are necessary for a country to function well.

      Trump as a malignant narcissist is the worst kind of psychopath and sociopath there is.
      The fact that Trump was ever elected is a symptom of something seriously wrong in American society.

        Yeah Biden is definitely more of a moderate right wing liberal according to most European countries standards.

        I can somewhat imagine that people wanted change and decided to vote for Trump once, just to see what would happen. However, what I do not understand is the people who voted for him 2! times after that. How can you look at the endless list of shit he did in his first term and think “yeah I’ll have more of that please”.

      Yeah. It is so much easier for me to believe that Americans are racist than to believe that 79 million people thought “The Apprentice” was a documentary. This born-rich imbecile is the opposite of a tycoon - he literally bankrupted a casino.
