Trump added that the arch near the National Mall will “house, store, and have the rapid ability to use large numbers of drones, plus Snipers, on both the roof and plaza areas, and additionally have and hold large quantities of sniper ammunition in storage.”
It’s not just the fact that a president makes these stupid proclamations …
It’s that the whole American government, or at least a good portion of it, just goes along with it and allows it all to happen and normalize it all. Their leader is there because there is an entire community of professionals, academics, supporters, wealthy leaders, officials, bureaucrats and politicians all want him to be there. Trump isn’t some god king that magically is able to do or say all this … he’s there because enough people who are in control want him there.

Trump seems like he was installed to presidency, the same way FEDs throw coups and install presidents in other countries.
That’s why everyone goes along with it. This is on purpose and the things happening are supposed to happen.
I assume it’s to help FEDs build modern datacenters, ai, surveillance etc. Trump is the distraction and fall guy or patsy.
And FEDs will prep to give an equally fake democrat too. Once the objective is completed there will be a perfect democrat to take his place and make thing look “normal” again even though it’ll be the same fake theater of “democracy”.
People forget they are being constantly led and manipulated by news, politics, and entertainment. Specifically to make them easier to lead in whatever direction.
It’s so hard to forget once you understand this, and it’s also so obvious. You can’t unsee it. I wish I could articulate it perfectly.
I’m up in Canada and when I look at these headlines every day … it just affirms my belief that America is a failed democracy. Everyone keeps calling it a democracy but it’s only a name or description at this point because it certainly doesn’t function like one any more.
I’m in no special place either … we are on our way downhill up here as well. We’re not at the same level as the US but we are on our way there. The whole first world system is slowly morphing into some sort of weird Corporatocracy.
Yeah. It’s everywhere. Global politics and world domination of human beings. We all fell for it.
It goes deep into human history.
I’m also in Canada, but I’m a bit more optimistic about our direction. When you zoom out and look at Canada’s usual electoral cycles, the last election should have been an absolutely guaranteed Conservative win. The fact that we allowed the Liberals to pivot rightward (but not nearly as far as the Conservatives), and not only retain control of government, but actually gain seats, presents a major deviation leftward from our usual pattern.
That’s what they’ve been doing. For a long time.
Sure some center of power wants one candidate to win over the other due to expected policy changes, contract opportunities, and the money already spent on bribes. They’re in competition with the other centers of power. But at the end of the day, the important stuff, the military-industrial complex, geopolitical positioning, corporate backed trade deal, insider stock trading and market manipulation, etc., all stay the same regardless of who wins.
That part of the system is ironclad. At least until it implodes on itself because the entire structure is like public tax backed ponzi scheme.
That’s why the new crop of Trump backers and elected cronies are so brazen with their complete lack of discretion about what really goes on in the seats of power. They were all political outsiders and when they first arrived were doing the political version of raiding the rival frat houses, throwing toilet paper everywhere and wrecking shit. It’s a game to them. Who can out shock their friends and rivals.
But it kept going on because no one there, besides a few newer idealists, is actually working for the people.
Anyone who tries is quickly shut out. Like cop gangs, you have to agree to the corruption to stay in the game.
No one who goes to the House or the Senate is doing what they were elected to do. Except in the instance of easy PR legislative victories and policy that’s bolstered by backroom deals.
The only difference was the older generation was smart enough to keep their fucking mouths shut about it. To pad their blatant self-serving maneuvering with an veneer of class. Everyone was hush hush and they only time one party ratted out the other was around election time and even then it’s restrained to those who really fuck up and get caught. Nobody is going to rock the boat too much, otherwise the political class will inadvertently tip their hand to the public.
But everyone feels like the gig is about up so nobody is pretending anymore.
Nothing has changed except the boil has come to the surface and is about to pop.
