I grew up in a time and place that had me believing homosexuality was immoral and that white men were being discriminated against by affirmative action. What I believed was wrong, and is not representative of who I am now. But I didn’t have social media or a television network keeping a record of every time I said something awful.
It’s all satire, there is no wrong side.

I don’t think they’ve changed in that in 25 years; either that, or they started to change when the results came in years later and maybe did/do a “how were we supposed to know that invading Iraq was a bad idea?”, much like some who supposedly regret voting for Trump didn’t know that voting for and/or otherwise supporting him was a bad idea.
