It’s an earthquake to have Bernie Sanders’s candidate defeat Gretchen Whitmer’s candidate in Michigan. But the real goal is to keep Donald Trump’s candidate from winning this seat.
Makes sense. General elections don’t matter to the donor class because, to them, an establishment neoliberal dem is only slightly more agreeable than a child raping demonic republican; but they simply will not tolerate a left-winger. Lovely bunch of humans we have running the show.
Citizens United was a mistake. At this rate, 2026 might have more money put into it than general elections 1-2 decades prior.
