    Volunteer.

    All the money in the world can’t buy actual enthusiasm.

    If you have doubts, I can probably dig up that old video of the Cuomo fundraiser for NYC mayor. You can pay people to pretend to be grassroots support, but they’re not going to actually give a shit or be able to actually talk about policy instead of repeating talking points they don’t agree with.

    Wherever you are, volunteer with your state Dem party, and drag it left. Even if you’re lucky enough to be in a “good” state, push em left.

    The lower the stakes the more of an advantage that is. With data centers we need people involved at even the local level if we’re building up a bottom-up party again, then local politicians are the foundation, not an afterthought.

    As two of the greatest environmental protesters of the 90s once said:

    You gotta think glooooobally, but act loooooocallly, buuuuuddy
