I tried using a metal bench scraper on it but I’m not willing to mess around with razor blades, I’m too clumsy for that.

I will never forgive my landlord for replacing the perfectly good gas stove with ceramic glass garbage.

I can’t even boil pasta properly because the damn thing switches between off and on every couple of minutes so it goes from a rolling boil to barely a simmer repeatedly.

I hate it vehemently.

It’s also impossible to clean. After one use a layer of grease seemed to meld with the glass and nothing will remove it. I had to use heavy duty oven cleaner on it after every single use and it still didn’t work. I’ve given up now, i’d rather replace it than spend hours scrubbing it every day.

The gas stove was a major reason for choosing this house to rent and I will not get over it. I don’t have asthma and I don’t have kids. I’m looking to buy a place and I am looking for a gas stove.
