Reddit sucks

Nah that’s too hard to get away with

Ah so you’re doing the assuming. I posed a question.

Yeah makes sense it would happen. Not sure why everybody thinks nobody would think of doing this.

It was actually a question, hence AskLemmy

Or they’re overcharging so the margin makes up for the free tires they generally have to give
Haha you should! Burgers engineered by farmers.
It’s a chain in US but maybe only in CA?
Yall gonna think I’m crazy but Farmer Boys. Everybody else around me gonna say In-N-Out.

Cuz women don’t have the balls to commit crime.
This is a joke.

Interesting theory. I’d be surprised if Google started charging for their AI results. Too much free training data and they can afford to keep models running for the masses. They’re not solely an AI company. At the worst, these AI companies get swallowed up by bigger companies that can keep running even if AI is not profitable, which it is in some cases.

Hahah that’s such a strangely specific “milestone” to be thinking about. That somebody tells you you’re attractive and that you may not be attracted to them?
Maybe you just need to date more. There’s no shortage of people who you will find unattractive and I’m sure some of them will find you attractive.
But ask why that’s important to you and why you think of that as a milestone. Try 5 why’s. Go deeper. Then you’ll have your answer.
I can understand though that a milestone might be validation from society so you can move on to not caring about what people think because you know that, in this case, you’re attractive.
Just post your pictures online somewhere and ask people. You’ll get some validation and some rejection.
Sorry times are tough. Hoping you get through this chapter quickly, but it is just a chapter in your longer, beautiful story.

Maybe that’s just you but millions of people are interfacing with LLMs every day as a replacement to a traditional search engine. I don’t see that changing. Either way, sounds like you are agreeing that AI will not go away entirely. That would be a silly thing to say.
It’ll also go dormant as LLMs are only one AI tech. Other AI tech will be developing while supporting infrastructure grows until we have another boom. World models for example and JEPA. That’s why Meta is pushing AI glasses. They need training data.

I’m sorry but you’re wrong

I’m so confused. I’m telling you my real life experiences. What are you saying? Gotta be trolling.

You’re joking? You can find people from almost any country in the US. Restaurants of any kind. Places of worship of any religion. Not talking all over the US, but all the major metropolitan areas are highly multicultural compared to many other countries in the world.

Are you saying that you think there is a possibility that AI technology, especially LLMs, would disappear from usage? Even as search tools? Even used locally?

US absolutely has pubs, but maybe called taverns, specially on the east coast like in Boston where lots of colonizers lived. Bell in Hand is a popular one there. I guess it depends on your definition of a pub, but the US is so multicultural that you’ll find straight pubs or wannabe pubs here too with names you’d expect to see in Ireland or England (e.g. Red Lion).
I think the closest modern thing to a pub in the US is called a “dive” or a “dive bar” where you pretty much just go to drink.

Anybody thinking AI goes away is just wishfully thinking, and/or ignorant.

For sure. The smoke can get in the insulation though and in the attic. Not sure if that matters or just a selling point for remediation companies.
Yeah filter the hell out of the house for a while. Take care!
What do you mean? Why they would do it? Cuz it’s easy to do and get away with.
