It’s been a couple years, but I used Gemini for coding and I found it to be at least better than ChatGPT at the time, but for everything else it was so much worse than it. But yes, even when coding and having it supposeldy dig through docs, it had quite the error rate.

Fucking hell. Time to take all the photos down. It’s been at least a decade since a photo has been uploaded there, because I knew Google can’t be trusted and I disabled the automatic upload, just hadn’t taken the already uploaded images down. On top of that, for months I have been in the process of moving off gmail to Zoho Mail. Fuck Google.

Idk man, to me, it feels like we are further from AGI than fusion reactors actually being hooked up to the grid, considering LLMs are still just glorified autocorrects, needing a ton of prompt injections from their providers. And yet, the AI companies make it seem like it’s right around the corner (obviously, because $$$), whereas to me it feels like we are still at least 50 years away. Maybe AGI will be the next fusion generator chase.

Waste of energy. I am not anti-AI, I think it’s good in software development when used in a quite moderate amount and the developer understand every single word it spits out. When I use Claude sometimes, I can never help not rewriting what it spits out, it just doesn’t code the way I would. It’s especially often bad with bash scripts, and I am not a bash pro at all.
These recomps, and even these recent PS5 emulators, are hella vibecoded, so I am personally staying extremely far away from them. Also, this Adobe suite is supposedly barely usable, so there’s that.

And YouTube… their moderation is utter trash. There’s so much “wet kitty asmr” that is simply not getting banned, even though it’s entirely obvious to anyone what the fuck that is. Even the less extreme, but still heavily “pornographically charged” / horny / gooner-esque ASMR is simply not getting removed, either.
