3 days agoI don’t know. Kansas is a historically Red place, not known for its elected Democrats. Seeing polls that say the Dem is within striking range or even ahead in Kansas could be a HUGE motivator for Team Blue turnout, because suddenly your vote MAY be the one that puts your guy or gal over the top and makes it possible for a flip of a reliably Red seat to Blue. That’s why Dems (and Reps) publish polls in close races.
But you do have a point. The only poll that matters is the one concluded on 3 November and conducted by your State. If your ballot isn’t turned in, you’re making it easier for the guy or gal you DON’T want to get into office, so make sure you vote as soon as possible, and if not, by Tuesday.
This is my thought. Impeachment is easy once you get a majority in the house. The rub is that conviction in the Senate is impossible unless and until Team Red pulls their head out of Trump’s ass and entertains the idea that maybe what’s good for Trump isn’t good for the party. Not going to hold my breath for that. Instead, play the investigate investigate investigate game and drag all of Trump’s skeletons out of the closet no matter how much they chatter their jaw bones. Since it’s almost Halloween and all… :)
