That sounds great except the batteries don’t last forever, so new ones have to keep getting made, which is still ongoing pollution in a different form. If you really want to reduce pollution, ride a bicycle.

Exactly, all modern cars are awful in that regard, ICE, EV or Hybrid, it doesn’t matter. The spyware and privacy invasion built into all of them makes none of them desirable to me whatsoever.

Of course fossil fuels are worse, but that doesn’t mean EVs are a magically green utopia machine either.

Then I guess surviving the climate collapse will be just as realistic.
