That might be worded a bit too dramatic.

Anyways, it is good for people if more of the available money is invested in necessary and useful things. Like energy-saving technology, decarbonization, solar power, cheap electric cars and so on. The world is in the biggest technological transformation of the last 150 years: The transformation away from fossil power… and most US ecomical leaders are sleeping at the helm.

They piss people all the time. Nothing ever happens. Rich people protect their kind. I’ll take your optimism, tho and hope this time something happens but I won’t be surprised if not

I would also not be surprised, but i was very pleasantly surprised with Tuesday, so I’m trying to be optimistic.

I’ve also been writing my representatives and telling them that we need to see consequences for the oligarchs. Hopefully I’m not the only one, and hopefully they’ve got the stones to do what needs to be done.

They need to create a deterrent effect by administering actual consequences. That’s the only way the ruling class will adjust their future behavior. Blood for blood.

I agree with you. There should be consequences, but I’m too cynical to trust any form of politician to do the right thing if not for show and to amass votes. I hope things get better
