Kinda useless but I can remember numbers for a really long time. Still remember all the plate numbers of every car I’ve had or my parents had from 1990 to today. All the phone numbers and addresses I or my family or friends had from the same time range. Every debit card and bank account number I’ve had.
I’m terrible with names but great with numbers. Trade off, I guess.
Kind of similar here. I have an almost photographic memory, but only really for numbers.
When I newly moved here, I went out shopping for furniture. At the cash register, the lady asked me what my postal code was for delivery. At that point, I had never properly read my full address, but it was on the contract I had signed. So, I went into the back of my brain, found a screenshot of that and could read out the code. Then I obviously double-checked, but yeah, I got all 5 digits right.
