I get your point, and yeah common ground and lowering the crazy cost of living are important. I think maybe you’re being downvoted because the Overton window has shifted so far to the right that these days, middle of the road is too far right for many people to be able to support.
“Middle of the road” doesnt actually exist in the US. Thats the real problem. Your DNC middle of the road is unfettered capitalism, no health care, no jobs, no food safety, no care for the environment, Epstein coverage, ICE support, regressive taxation, and funding war crimes. Thats where the middle of the road dems always lead us, and they pretend they are the far left while doing it. They are the right.
