    In fairness, I say “to” and not “with” if I say something similar. I know it’s incorrect, but I’m American and we’re lazy in how we talk.

      In fairness, Mitch has been seizing up in front of cameras for years and is being carted around on a wheelchair looking like you can’t process what’s going on around him.

      ‘speak to’ is the norm in Standard Southern British English, at least. ‘speak with’ is definitely marked at best, and at worst sounds American/foreign.
