we will 100% have a Supreme Court case about the limits of presidential pardons,

I hope we don’t, because this Court will establish that there are no practical limits. Better that we keep pardons out of the courts entirely until we fix the pardon power. Getting any amendment passed is a huge slog, but this one ought to get bipartisan support.

We can’t do anything to fix the pardon. It’s in the constitution and interpretation of the constitution is 100% in the hands of the SC. It’s an ammendment or nothing.

Yes, and after seeing what Trump has done with it (and is about to do), there might be enough support to get it amendment passed.

We need the newly expanded SCOTUS to read that corrupt pardons are inherently prohibited by the principles of liberty and justice for which the Constitution stands, and are therefore void. If they can make up presidential immunity from nothing we can do this, if we push it.

No, the pardon needs to be eliminated entirely; any interpretation of one Supreme Court can be overturned by another. But, sure, I’ll take what I can get.

But we do need to impeach some justices.
