So build a data center in space, just add a little apartment for yourself. Imagine looking down on the whole world! What power!

NASA timed its manned high-space missions to low-ebb periods, and there was still some risk of astronauts being baked to a crispy golden brown. Getting to mars is nine months, rather than a few days to the moon. CMEs be coming.
