A lot of people over there still voted for Trump, still want guns & oil, and used the midterms to try and undermine the democratic process. Every country has an irrational evil selfish group, but maybe yours did so much damage to the world it needs to be visibly contained and diminished for longer than 1 midterm for people to not be wary of Americans.

Why are you still pining for what can never be brought back? There is no pre-Trump world anymore. It’s gone.
Be wary all you like, and in fact you should. It was your governments’ lust for American dollars that caused them to throw aside your own national security and/or resources and rely on us for what they should have been building toward all along. That’s not on us, that’s on you.
And it would be best if you faced forward and started doing for your own countries what you should have been doing all along.

According to a recent AP poll, 80% of registered voters want either “complete and total upheaval” or “substantial change” in how this country is run. And that includes 97% of Democrats, 90% of independents, and 58% of Republicans.
In other words, the American people understand that the economy today is rigged and that we cannot continue the ‘same old, same old’ establishment politics and establishment policies.
The “establishment policies” Bernie is specifically referring to, among other expenditures, is military spending.
In America today, we spend more on the military than the next six nations combined. Despite massive waste, fraud, and abuse, the Pentagon has repeatedly failed independent audits and cannot account for trillions of dollars in spending. Adding insult to injury, Trump has dragged us into an illegal and unconstitutional war in Iran that will cost hundreds of billions of dollars.
We must end this disastrous war.
We must cut off all funding for the genocidal government in Israel.
And we must substantially reduce military spending. Instead of pouring $1.1 trillion into a bloated Pentagon and never-ending wars
So if your heart is set on keeping everything Trump has destroyed samey-samey, buckle up because it’s gonna be a rocky fucking ride. Bernie’s looking forward. You should be too.
