After Democrats’ historic victory, why is this how Hakeem Jeffries is responding?
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries isn’t interested in seeking impeachment charges against President Donald Trump.
Speaking on MS NOW’s Morning Joe Wednesday, Jeffries laid out his priorities for his party’s newfound leadership in the House of Representatives.
“The American people don’t want us to get even. They want us to get things done on their behalf because life is way too expensive,” Jeffries said.

Hakeem can fuck directly off into the sun.
Yeah it’s always “take responsibility for your actions” whenever you do something they don’t like (even if it was innocuous), but when you expect them to face repercussions for being narcissistic abusers, then suddenly it’s “Don’t be so vindictive! I can’t believe you’re holding a grudge. How petty. Revenge won’t solve anything! Let it go, it’s water under the bridge.”
While new water continues to flow under said bridge unimpeded…
Half of Congress would probably be perfectly happy caucusing with the other team. They don’t care and tout whatever party line gets them paid. AIPAC and MORON-PAC (i.e. MAGA pocketbooks) have been very lucrative partnerships for them.
All I’m saying is it’s probably all a dog and pony show for Jeffreys. He probably has no interest or stomach for a protracted fight when they can just coast and give some lip service.
