That makes sense. Yeah Elizabeth Warren might be my top choice too. Hopefully she can find the support she needs with other senators.

I’ve already heard some feedback that Booker might just be more of Schumer-style leadership. That surprised me because he seems pretty firey when he gives speeches. But yeah that might just be him playing the political game, knowing what buttons to press.

I think we’re going to have a pretty robust primary in 2028, so I don’t think that’s a good reason to write off Ossoff for SML. They can always pick a new one if he gets the nomination.

CVH is pretty low-key but he’s from my state and honestly his priorities are in the right place and he delivers on his promises. He just isn’t an attention whore like some of his overambitious colleagues.

Raskin of course is my top choice for Speaker, but I may be biased in that regard. He’s too humble to promote himself, but that makes him perfect for the job in my opinion. Khanna would also be a great pick.

And yeah I haven’t paid super close attention to Robert Garcia either but this isn’t the first time I’ve seen his name in headlines, and it usually leaves a good impression whenever he pops up in the spotlight. He seems he’ll do great as Oversight Chair anyway, but I thought this particular headline earned him a mention on my list :)
