Democrats notched an upset victory in South Carolina’s Senate race, NBC News projects, with Annie Andrews toppling Republican Sen. Darline Graham, who was appointed this year to succeed her late brother, longtime Sen. Lindsey Graham.
Andrews, a pediatrician, will be the state’s first Democratic senator in more than 20 years. Donald Trump carried South Carolina by more than 17 percentage points two years ago.
My favorite win of the night. Suck shit Darlene ya bigoted old skinflap
Darlene, Collins, Paxton, and many more. I am soooo happy to say goodbye to all of them.
I just woke up to a new day and I feel happiness for the first time in a long, long time. I know it will be short lived, but it’s worth it to see them handed their hat.
