If I ever get a tattoo it needs to be physics or math related but I have no clue how it’s possible to not be terribly cringe. Maybe a clever geometric argument/proof of something important in physics/math.
Yeah the cringe factor on that one is pretty high unless you come up with something unique.
The Maxwell field equations stand on their own in their beauty I think, but you kind of have to have some tangential relation for it not to just be ugh.
Or maybe nah that is cringe.
A good anti cringe factor is humor. If you can find something that’s both meaningful and funny then that always works.

Joke aside, I knew a guy who had some version of Binet formula tattooed on his shoulder. I thought it was clever and has an interesting history, and if people ask you can talk about Fibonacci and golden mean and art and the renaissance period and etc
