I don’t get it, if they want to remove birthright citizenship couldn’t they just amend the Constitution with a referendum ?

I can’t get over how extremely self-centered a worldview MAGA has that they think white people somehow have more of a right to control North America than the people that were there first. These are the people who don’t see the irony in wanting to move to a country with no immigrants
I think this animosity probably has to do with a number of energy projects that are opposed by Native American groups. I don’t think the administration got very far with this argument, but it is not for lack of trying.
Atleast the right is discovering they too have boundaries, I guess. But what a cost.
I assume it’s not an easy sell because to get voters to believe this is a big enough problem to change it, they have to acknowledge that Trump hasnt fixed any immigration issues.
Assuming they even care about immigration and it isn’t just hating things that they like.
