Enrollment in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (Snap) has decreased significantly over the past year in the US following restrictions imposed by the Trump administration, which has forced more people to seek help from food banks or go hungry, stakeholders say.
The number of people who receive food stamps has dropped from 41.6 million in July 2025, before the One Big Beautiful Act took effect, to 36.5 million in June 2026, a 13% decrease, according to the latest data from the US Department of Agriculture, which administers the program.

There are so many videos of them out there! They all say the same exact thing! Pfft! 8 kids by 5 different dads?? The framing in the videos is also the same. Also, the account that posted them has 15 other identical videos, with millions of views. This proves that my feelings about what those people are up to are justified! But no. Everyone should be living in mortal fear of losing their job, otherwise how will anyone even work any more? I need to be able to make sure there are a compliant set of people that are clinging to service jobs like grim death so I can threaten to give them a 0% tip for not hopping to.
