Vance’s evolution from a self-described “Never Trump” guy to Trump’s running mate has long been a topic of scrutiny for both critics and supporters.
Not really: the dude is a power-hungry turncoat and a swamp creature, just like all the other fuckheads on Capitol Hill. That’s all there is to say about Vance.

I was about to say, anyone who examined him beyond Hillbilly Elegy figured out the guy has no beliefs beyond “I deserve power”. He’ll say and do whatever you tell him to if you tell him that it will make him more powerful over people’s lives.
