During a television broadcast on Thursday, former federal special counsel Jack Smith expressed deep concern regarding the current state of American jurisprudence. Appearing on the MS NOW program hosted by Nicolle Wallace, the former prosecutor described the current political landscape as an extraordinary threat to the nation’s legal foundations. He characterized the ongoing institutional shift as a unique challenge, calling it an assault “different in kind and scope to anything I’ve seen in my lifetime.” This marked his initial public media appearance since stepping down from his federal post in January 2025.

Hear me out. Downvote me if you must.
I know the prevailing thought from the informed is “duh. We know this.” And I have been guilty of thinking this as well.
The truth is with Bannons “flood the zone” media blitz strategy we are living in a time where the obvious bears repeating. We may know, we may be frustrated that it needs to be repeated but somewhere out there someone needs to be reminded. Reason is irrelevant. The zone needs to be flooded with the same truth over and over until the ignorant can’t ignore it.
There’s no reason to downvote you, you’re correct. The only issue I have with this reasoning is that it doesn’t take into account that those accepting the flooding aggressively reject outside information no matter how it’s offered.
We can all be wrong because we want something to be true for whatever the reason, that’s understandable. The rejection of truth otoh is problematic, especially when that rejection rejoices in harm to others.
Excellently stated - this is an important strategy that we should be mindful of. Also, nice username.
I think this needs to be the top comment on half of the posts in this community.

Yeah. Another problem is the Dems always come from a defensive posture. The right says Medicare has fraud. The left has to say yes, but….
We all know there’s fraud, but it’s minimal and doesn’t mean we tear it all down.
The left absolutely needs to get the messaging straight and then get it out there.
