I understand what you’re saying but this might not be the beat way to describe it.

I think their supremacist beliefs are held in the core of their being. They may on some level know they’re not superior to anyone else, but they do believe that they deserve to be treated as superior.

They’re cowards because they understand that their beliefs are not acceptable and there will be consequences in their lives that they’re unwilling to encounter.
