But when I go to use the bathroom, I like to just finish looking at something in the bathroom. Now, to take a shower, I put my phone in a really high place and only listen to music, but I rarely take my phone to the bathroom.

Cell phones are just another addiction; everyone uses them like cigarettes, but unfortunately no one has managed to quit.

Why not just use a bluetooth speaker, and leave the phone outside the bathroom? That way, if it breaks, then it’s not as expensive to replace as a phone, and the audio quality is generally better than what a phone’s speakers can put out.

Phones are like cigarettes but you need to smoke them to verify your payment or login to your bank.

Not in that sense, man. I’m trying to say that humans have developed an independence from cell phones. Many simple things, like going for a walk or other things, all depend on cell phones, thus creating addictions to screens and making them stronger. I’m not saying you’re going to smoke your cell phone like it’s a cigarette. I’m just arguing that screen addiction, whether for a short or long time, can damage your brain, making many simple things in your daily life difficult to do without a cell phone.
