All states will, that’s not the problem. The problem is that after the ballots are filled out and mailed back, the USPS will run the bar codes from each one against their own “APPROVED” list, and if a bar code isn’t on the list, they will reject the ENTIRE BATCH, which could be as many as 10,000 ballots.
Nobody has seen this Approved List, nobody knows who made the list, what data the lists were compiled from, who is in charge of the list, who is in charge of this program, what’s going to happen to the rejected ballots - anything.
So states can send out their ballots, people can fill them out and send them back, but you will never be sure if your vote ever got counted. Unless MAGA does well this election, then you’ll know.
I thought they may not mail them out, either. If they mail them out, and the state has drop boxes, well, we still have (relatively) easy voting.
If they don’t even mail them to the voter, that’s even worse.

Why wouldn’t you know? In Kansas I am able to logon to a website and it tracks the ballot. It would tell me if it was received and if it was accepted or rejected.
Do the rest of the states not have that?

We’ve had vote by mail for a very long time here in Colorado.
The stupid right wing chuds, even in this state, decided to politicize vote by mail, especially around Covid. They were super-salty - and still are - about other states even temporarily having vote by mail during a freaking pandemic. They think something was taken from them by this.
What every person should have learned from the pandemic was that every state should have vote by mail, because it works.
Nope, instead, all the Karens cheered the fact that states that had it temporarily yanked it away ASAP, and are still trying to retcon the 2020 election AND steal away the right from states already have it.
