Are you guys seeing this? In my locale I see no protests, bumper stickers, local news coverage, nothing. Just more and more cameras coming up. I used to drive by four, now drive by six on way to work.
Have to ever been to a meeting of your local council? Have to gone door to door to talk to your neighbors about it? It took years of effort to remove them here.
Start chopping them down, or destroying them by some means
If you don’t already have the requisite equipment, be sure to leave the local area to purchase it, pay cash, and obscure your face (also make sure that they can’t track you to the store specifically, use a flock map, a bike might be more prudent than a car depending on the scenario.
I’ve seen yard signs related to data center push back near me. It’s anecdotal, but I’ve heard others speak about the cameras around here in negative ways (it was at a haircut!). It seems subdued, but I suspect there’s much more on people’s minds, they just aren’t letting it be known.

The Flock cameras at my local Home Depot (which I like to call “Flock Depot”) were cut right off of the poles a few weeks ago.
I live in the Puget Sound area though, where people are more willing to take some sort of action

I’ve seen posters taped up under the cameras, but I also see more cameras.
