    Are they attracted to shiny things? What on earth drew them to Trump? It could happen again unless we stomp that out. If racism and misogyny played a role, we’re fucked for a long time unless we get another plague going.

      Propaganda on all fronts, organized and well funded. TV, social media, church, school, everywhere. Most people would accept the lies then because it seems unlikely logically that so many sources are trying to decieve them.

      This is the thing… polls show that Trump is unpopular, so they might not run him for president in '28. (Not because it’s illegal; that doesn’t mean shit to the Republican party.) Polls of likely candidates show that Republicans and Democrats are almost dead even. Unbelievable, but Americans are what they are.
