Nah. I glued it to the back of the the shadowbox with liquid nails I believe while it was laying flat on the ground. It’s been holding strong for 15 years so far!
Yeah I guess it’s funny now that you mention it. The background color matches the back wall more than I realized. The color of the back wall was tan originally.

Yeah it’s a bit of an optical illusion lol. Probably more obvious to see the difference in real life.
