    It depends on what you mean. They don’t exactly draft Liberian diamond miners either. Poor uneducated Liberians do that because they have to.

      Did you just equate working in a mine for sustenance to committing war crimes for a placement in the middle class, lifetime benefits, free education, and the expectation of respect and special treatment for the rest of your life?

          They equated surviving in a mine with moving up in society as a reward for war crimes. What do you think their point was?

          It’s literally what you did. Attempting to gaslight the reader by just calling me crazy isn’t going to work, the comment and its context are right there for all to see.

          American military recruits are not joining because they have no other choice, like a Liberian miner. On the contrary, they pass up lower paying jobs for it, they choose to go commit war crimes for a higher reward.
