A large store in Tennessee that exclusively sells President Donald Trump merchandise is closing, and it is due to a lack of shoppers.

The store is located along Interstate 40 near Knoxville, Tennessee and its exterior has massive Trump billboard, banners, and a brick outhouse labelled the “Democrat Superstore” make clear what kind of goods the shop is slinging.

But now the shop is selling off its remaining inventory at a 50 percent discount, Slate reports. It’s going out of business, and its owner, identified as William 'Bill" Hays, admitted the closure is due to lack of customers.

I popped in to one of these Trump stores for a look prior to the election while I was visiting doing a road trip through some states

The shit was expensive and cheaply made, the owner was reacting to recorded news interviews playing on screens as if they were live

    Very obviously a grift

In the Trump world, that’s just your standard kayfabe

      Also yes, of course.

Its hard to educate the average person on how central the concept of kayfabe is to the current situation we exist in, it goes beyond Trump but I don’t know if anyone besides Vince himself ever used it so effectively.

        Enragement capitalism.

I think some ex-Faux guy wrote a book some number of years ago and gave the game away about how Faux was consciously designed to be very similar to WWE, formerly known as WWF. I wish I could find that snippet…

Is it weird I read the headline and was a little bit disappointed that someone milking these idiots for all they are worth was going out of business?
