    Independent doesn’t mean centrist. I’m independent and it’s because the establishment Dems aren’t socialist enough for me. Most Dems I’ve seen online have been disgusted with the centrist stand of the DNC leadership

      That’s fair. But similarly, you should acknowledge that “independent” predominately includes centrists and moderates of each party.

        I think a lot of independents are disillusioned with both parties, but you’re correct most hold moderate views.
