Moreover, it appears that ICE holds approximately 65,765 people in detention. Most of them have no criminal convictions. To say nothing about the mistreatment and abuse that they face - without due process. Some of them have died.

What the Trump/Miller administration and ICE are doing is beyond horrible. There is no excuse for this.

You think watching saving private Ryan and the band of brothers means you understand what happened in WW2, instead of realizing you saw a highly propagandized and tiny sliver of an incredibly complex and long running system that led to concentration camps executing Jews and other “undesirables”, which they didn’t do for roughly 4 years.

The first thing they did was round them up in German Deportation camps and started deporting them to countries that would take them.

When countries stopped accepting their deportations without Germany paying them a fee to do it, Germany decided to save money and spend it instead on their war machine across europe.

So then what to do about all the people costing them money to keep or send out?

Well, they decided it would be cheaper to experiment on them and execute them, and they could use the money from keeping them alive to keep building their military.

Which is what they did.
