Pizza Hut is on the brink of transformation as Yum Brands agrees to sell the struggling chain for a hefty $2.7 billion. The deal paves the way for private equity firm LongRange Capital to take control in numerous markets, while Yum China Holdings Inc. will oversee operations in mainland China.
… And I thought all restaurants are going to be Pizza Hut in the future after the big franchise wars (demolition man) 😉
Pretty sure it was Taco Bell that wins the franchise wars. Pizza Hut doesn’t count, the EU movies don’t really exist anymore. They got bought out by Taco Bell too :P
