I discovered about Lemmy and Piefed devs opinions and views which i not agree with¹, so i was thinking of using Mbin², i looked in to join mbin website and idk what to choose, there is a big instance which i want to avoid³ and idk if the smaller ones are stable, any suggestion?
1 Piefed is also made with Python which isn’t the fastest language and i hate reading python codebases lmao
2 Please don’t tell me that the devs are nazis or smth 😭
3 joining a big instance kinda defeat the purpose of the fediverse tbh

Per this page, there are nine Mbin instances with over ten monthly active users (MAU):
Fedia.io is the largest, though if choosing an Italian one is important to you, agora.energieincomune.com appears to be hosted there. The downside of using Mbin is that Interstellar is the only app to support it.
That’s quite unfortunate, luckly it’s not a bad app though
Anyway, i’il look in to them and see which is the most “stable” one, without counting fedia.io (See 3 on the post)
You can use a combination of stability and age - Uptime and Months, columns #2 & 7 in the linked webpage. High uptime % in a well-established, long-running instance is the best.
