A federal judge Monday said a controversial lawsuit brought by President Donald Trump against the IRS sought to “manipulate the judicial process” and that he acted in bad faith in bringing it.

US District Judge Kathleen Williams is ordering sanctions for the attorneys involved in the lawsuit, which led to an attempt to create the now-defunct $1.8 billion “anti-weaponization” fund for allies of the president. It was also used to justify a Trump administration order giving Trump and his businesses amnesty for any past tax issues.

Doesn’t seem to matter. They have disabled the checks and balances, if they were ever there to begin with.

The mountain of terrible is only starting to grow. At some point this all comes to a tipping point and then we’ll see. Either it becomes totalitarian, or the people rise up. This doesn’t end well either way if history teaches us anything.

Hopefully sanctioning the lawyers will lead other attorneys to think long and hard before they do any work for this admin.

They say President Trump wants to get rid of checks and balances. It’s not true. Fake news. They say it, they want you to believe it. Believe me, it’s not true. Nobody loves checks and balances more than me. I get the biggest checks—you’ve never seen bigger—all the time, from Jeff, from Vlad, from Pete. They say, “Donald, you’re doing an amazing job.” Those checks, my checks, make HUGE balances. Big checks, big balances, I love all everything big—but not women, don’t want em. Anyone who says President Trump doesn’t want checks or balances is lying. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER!

      PRESIDENT DJT

They havent disabled the checks and balanced entirely. They still exist, but Republicans refuse to use them. Democrats had 4 years to fix it, though, and didn’t. If they do gain an advantage in Congress in the midterms, I hope they can use it.
