Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., who was elected to the Senate in 2003 and was a close political ally of President Donald Trump, has died, his office confirmed early Sunday. He was 71.
Graham died Saturday night “from a brief and sudden illness,” his office said in a statement.
There’s a difference between being happy they’re dead and wishing suffering on them.

I wish he experienced the same amount of suffering he spent two decades causing others to experience.
While millions suffered, he got off easy.
I wish I could watch him slowly die in a hospital while insurance companies Nickle and dimed him until he died.

Empathy is understanding the pointlessness and destructive nature of revenge and retribution. I bet you’re in favor of rehabilitation and recovery in justice systems, yet you’re here pushing retribution.

I’m firmly in the camp of '“don’t let perfect be the enemy of good”. I’d be happier if he suffered, but I’m not necessarily wishing it were the case.
