I heard about this recently from a different article, but from my understanding, when we yawn, cerebrospinal fluid moves away from our brains. Cerebrospinal fluid “keeps the central nervous system running smoothly, delivering nutrients and removing waste.”
So, as a laymen, I think our brains are flushing the gunk out when we yawn. Having to yawn a second time, to me, would indicate that we didn’t get all the gunk out the first time.
Changing my perspective a little.
For years now, maybe a bit before Covid, I’ve felt stuck in a rut of failing to express myself properly and coming across as a jerk when I want to be kind and friendly.
It turns out I have had no clue how to relax and not be in a constant state of fight or flight. So I spent time over the past month just learning what my body needed and practicing a more tender approach in the way I interacted with others.
It’s really opened my eyes more to how much the people around me are also starving for basic connection just on a community level.
If anything, make most apartments non-profits or government owned and rented out on the lower end. I feel that no one should be profiting off of another person’s need for proper housing.
I’m not talking about luxury apartments or things like that, but a basic roof over your head should not be something that another person is making a profit on.
Bad move, this should be something done at the state level only. Some states benefit more from permanent DST while others benefit more from permanent ST.
That’s what her campaign of ‘corporate approved small change government’ wanted her to say. Biden’s team also did not want her to separate herself from Biden on the campaign trail.
That line helped to sink her, in driving out anyone not already sold on the plan. Harris avoided taking any risks to not come across as over-selling and under-delivering, but no one wants a leader that doesn’t even believe in the message they’re selling.
I think most people understand that Harris would in practice have been quite different from Biden, but for most larger policies she would have not have differed.
