It’s always funny when these capitalist scumbags refer to darwinism. Without all the layers they’ve put into place to protect themselves, their behavior would’ve resulted in their skull being caved in by any one of the many people who are sick of their shit. Anyway, looking forward to when these super duper evolved CEOs get bailed out by the government again when their latest bubble blows up.

This MBA mf has been the CEO during the worst security disasters in Palo Alto history, and now he thinks AI is the future of the company?

It’s ripe to pull anything out ones ass just to make a quick buck. Like you can’t be spewing nonsensical bs just to get hyped. And then flip flop

I already got cut. Lost my 10-year IT job to AI last year. Now I’m working in a factory, packaging waffles 8 hr/day. The irony of me doing drudgery that could be fairly easily done by a machine, while a machine is doing something that requires agency, decisions and creativity, is not lost on me.

I want to get off mr. Bones Wild Ride. Forever.

    My Company:

AI is going to wreck our systems. We need to move even faster. Patch everything daily!

    Also My Company:

No, we can’t trust automation or AI to fix these things! Also, you need to clear every patch with our internal security team of 20 people and don’t expect them to review your changes for at least a week.

A CEO says shit to justify his bonus. It’s a story as old as time. Nothing to see here.

I have an idea: lets leave the big corps, and make a corperation whos leader gets elected by the workers there. All over the globe this must happen, and only buying from those worker owned companys.

Totally not playing on curtain political ideas

I don’t want the government to run like a business, I want businesses to run like governments. But, like, good governments.

But no mention in that article about the various instances ( here, here, here, here, etc ) of companies quietly having to hire back staff they’ve laid off because AI (or the people that were left at the companies who are using AI + AI consultants) is often doing such a bad job at replacing them.

Although this quote from this post’s article is telling:

The other way employers are broaching the issue is by gradually rebuilding their teams with AI-fluent workers.

Some of these companies that are hiring staff in the face of AI integration problems are likely using it as a smokescreen for getting rid of established employees so they can replace them with younger, cheaper alternatives.

Either was, it’s a mess out there right now.

I was the only one cut from my team of about 10 for AI. I had been there the longest (10 years). It’s all very transparent, but there’s nothing we can do against it.

It would be funny if Arora and other oligarchs eventually find out that they may be building out their own Darwinian moment. Arora and others like him would really benefit from reading a little bit of history.

workers are about to face a ‘Darwinian moment’ thanks to AI: Evolve or get cut

So, start doing your job poorly to hide among the AI-fluent workers?
