He’s passed on! This senator is no more! He has ceased to be! He’s expired and gone to meet his maker! He’s a stiff! Bereft of life, he rests in peace! If they hadn’t nailed him to the hospital bed he’d be pushing up the daisies! His metabolic processes are now history! He’s off the twig! He’s kicked the bucket, he’s shuffled off his mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the choir invisible!! HE IS AN EX-SENATOR!!

That’s the part that angers me the most. What the fuck is the (democratic) Governor thinking and why hasn’t he done anything yet?

He is evidently unble to fulfill his duties. Needs to be replaced by someone who can.

There needs to be clause that say you can retroactively apply eligibility to the senate based on prior eligibility but systematic failure to let you run during the limited timeframe.

How can he face these questions if he is brain-dead or dead? Headlines today, sheesh!

They should hold the special election and pick someone anyway, against the rules. He would have loved that.

        They absolutely should do this.

Our federal government operates not according to any a laws, state governors should just do whatever they want and cite the president as precedent.

He’ll be dead in 8 days, officially. And his seat will go vacant, to prevent any obstruction to the destruction of this country.

Sometimes, the politics in my country enfuriate me.

But then I’m reminded just how absolute garbage it is in the US, and I feel better.

“growing questions” this, “demands proof of life” that, all of that is meaningless. Either declare him dead and issue the writs of election or he shows his face in public.
